The CMJ Group headed by Mr. C.M. Jha decided to set up one of the first private universities in Meghalaya. The CMJ University (CMJU) came into being in 2009 by an Act of Meghalaya State Legislature under the CMJ University Act 4 of 2009. The university is situated on a 40 acre campus on a hillock in Jorabat on picturesque hills. The emblem of the university is green colour shield on which an interesting symmetrical designs have been drawn and on the top ‘AIM’ is written and in the middle ‘ऐं’ is written. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the ‘AIM’ and ‘ऐं, denotes ambition, motto and target; the colour green denotes agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

VAISHNO GROUP OF COLLEGES (VAISHNO) The emblem of Vaishno Group of Colleges (Vaishno) features a blue shield with three upward flames-like swooshes in white, yellow and black colours. The shield is supported by the name of the college written in blue sans-serif bold condensed capitals. The shield symbolises protection, integrity and strength; the wave-like strokes resemble a rising flame, a universal symbol for enlightenment, the pursuit of truth and the dispersion of ignorance through education. As the institution is named after Mata Vaishno Devi, the color palette and tripartite flow are reminiscent of traditional spiritual symbolism associated with the region. It evokes the three distinct holy expressions or forms (often visually tied to white, yellowish-red and black hues) that represent different aspects of wisdom, prosperity and power. The colour blue stands for depth, trust, loyalty, wisdom and stability, establishing the institution's professional academic focus.

BHOJIA DENTAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL (BDCH) The red and black emblem of Bhojia Dental College & Hospital (BDCH) features a soaring bald eagle, the Staff of Caduceus; an abstract leaf, the texts ‘Bhojia’, its motto ‘Health for All’ and the description of the college. The full name of the college is written below the seal. The bald eagle symbolises freedom, high spiritual vision, strength and resilience across many cultures and traditions; the Staff of Caduceus with a pair of wings and a entwined serpents represents healing, medicine and medical profession; and the leaf represents growth, vitality, nature, and the holistic well-being of the community.

MAHARISHI MARKANDESHWAR MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL, KUMARHATTI-SOLAN (MMMCH MMU SOLAN) The logo of Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College & Hospital, Kumarhatti-Solan (MMMCH MMU Solan) features the emblem of Maharishi Markandeshwar, Mullana with the name of the college written on the right in red sans-serif bold condensed capitals. The emblem has an oval-shaped panel with a red colour border and a red banner at the bottom of the oval. There is an image of Bhakta Markandeya hugging a Shiv Ling with a halo around. This is ensconced in a red border on which the name of the university is inscribed. On the banner the slogan in Devanagari ‘ॐ श्री मारकण्डेश्वराय  नमः’ is written. Below these its motto in Sanskrit ‘कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते’ (Verse 47, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita), which translates to ‘You have the Right to Action’.

PATNA PIRATES Patna Pirates is the Patna city franchise and the most successful team in the league with only team to win the title thrice in a row in season 3, 4 and 5 of the Vivo Pro Kabaddi. Pirates have proved themselves as real champions by giving three consecutive wins back to back. Owned by KVS Energy and Sports Limited, Patna Pirates believes that the spirit of the pirate is the spirit of not letting go, of using the environment to advantage, of striking when the enemy is least aware. It is named not after the criminal meaning of the word but after the Greek word 'peirin' which means ‘to attack’. The Pirates anthem which is penned by the great Prasoon Joshi, put to music by the much loved Late Aadesh Shrivastava and rendered by none other than Kailash Kher. The Patna logo depicts a pirate with a green body and a purple beard and moustache. He is wearing a black tricorne and Eye patch. The pirate poses with an angry and aggressive face.
