KAUSHALYA - THE SKILL UNIVERSITY

Kaushalya – The Skill University (KTSU) has been established vide an Act of Gujarat Assembly in October, 2021 with the objective of ‘Education with Skill’ and aims at making youth ‘Skill Smart’. The university is established by a legislation of Government of Gujarat in October 2021, as a one of its kind affiliating State University. It offers skill oriented courses through the schools of computing, science, manufacturing and infrastructure, liberal arts, services, management and finance and drone for certificate, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The emblem of the university has a globe topped by a map of India with a highlighted map of the State of Gujarat supporting an open book. Below the globe ‘The Skill University’ is written. A very thick blue border like a horse shoe with its endings as cufflinks holding a spanner and a pencil supports the motifs. ‘Kaushalya’ is written in sans serif font on the blue border. The globe represents education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the open book denotes knowledge, education and wisdom; the spanner the practical skills and the pencil the writing and creative skills.

RAJENDRA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (RIMS) The emblem of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) is directly adapted from the State Emblem of the State of Jharkhand. The central motifs of the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents crested with a flaming torch, supported by an open book and a pair of laurels replace the Lion Capital; and the name, place and motto of the college replace the name of the State. Below the seal, on a blue banner, the year of establishment of the college is written. The scales are the scales of justice representing fairness, balance and impartiality in the legal process; the laurels are a traditional symbol of victory, honour and academic achievement; the stars or hexagrams symbolise excellence, professionalism and guidance; the colour red symbolises energy, strength and authority; the green represents growth, stability and prosperity; and blue represents trust, intelligence and loyalty.

INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES, RANCHI (IMSRU) The emblem of Institute of Management Studies, Ranchi (IMSRU) features a gearwheel housing the motif of an open book inscribed with the images of the Subarnarekha River, which flows through Ranchi, which flows through Ranchi, a factory, a fisted hand and a forest landscape ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and motto of the college in Devanagari and a pair of laurels. MEDINIRAI MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL, PALAMU (MMCH PALAMU) The emblem of Medinirai Medical College and Hospital, Palamu (MMCH Palamu) features the Staff of Caduceus with a pair of wings and entwined by a pair of serpents and ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its place in Devanagari and English. The Palamu Fort and an open book form the background.
