ASIAN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Asian International University (AIU) is established under the Act 05 of 2021 made and promulgated on February 20, 2021 by the Governor of Manipur. The blue and orange emblem of the university has mountains with sun placed in a glowing circle held by a pair of hands. These are ensconced by an orange circle. The encircling white border has its name and place written on it. The outer edges of the border have orange and blue decorative lines. The mountain with glowing sun symbolises the State of Manipur and the hands are symbolically holding the Manipur. The traditional lamps placed between the name and place represent light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.

JIJAU COMMERCIAL CO-OP. BANK LTD. (JIJAU BANK) The emblem of Jijau Commercial Co-op. Bank Ltd. (Jijau Bank) has a profile image of Rajmata Jijau on a green circle ensconced by a partial gear wheel which is inscribed with its name and place in Devanagari. This assemblage is supported by a red banner bearing its motto ‘राष्ट्रमेव जयते’ meaning ‘Let the Nation Triumph’. The gear wheel refers to industry and industrial financing.

HINDUSTAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu commenced in 1985. The circular emblem in orange and green has a gear wheel housing a pair of laurels and circle containing a map of India and its year of establishment ensconced by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ on a green border. The gear wheel signifies interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure; the laurels signify victory and achievement, they are a reminder of the hard work and dedication that it takes to achieve success; map of India denotes its service to the entire India and to the world; the colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

ONGC VIDESH LIMITED The emblem of ONGC Videsh Limited has the motif of ONGC in white placed on a blue square representing the sun and the earth. It depicts the image of a flowing petroleum oil well, which is vibrant, full of life and active all the time. The logo, the flow lines are open and the word ONGC VIDESH is written in Devanagari and English. The colour blue  signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.

The lotuses denote purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
