BIR TIKENDRAJIT UNIVERSITY

Bir Tikendrajit University (BTU) was established through the Manipur Government Act No. 9 of 2020 and recognised under Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956. The emblem of the university has a lamp and lotus six petals placed on a motif of sun and three circular swooshes of blue and orange colours surmounted by the name of the university in red. The lamp signifies symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the lotus signifies purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the sun signifies life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour orange signifies energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.

The blue circle is circumscribed by the name and place of the college in red. The weighing scales with the twin balance pans symbolise equity, fairness, objectivity and truth; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the figures holding hands directly atop the scale beam highlights unity, collaboration, teamwork and community integration.
