PANJAB UNIVERSITY

Panjab University was established in 1882 is a Central and State Governments funded institution, which is located in Chandigarh. This is one of the oldest universities in India, which was initiated at Lahore in 1882 has 202 affiliated and 6 constituent colleges in Punjab state and Chandigarh Union Territory. The circular seal of the university pedestal inscribed with its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead me to Light’ supporting flowing waters and a rising sun and supported by agricultural fields on its sides. These motifs are ensconced with a circular border which bears the name of the university in Punjabi, Devanagari and English along with its year of establishment.

JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, KAKINADA Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) was established in the year 2008 vide Act No. 30 of 2008 by the State of Andhra Pradesh. The university started as College of Engineering Visakhapatnam founded by the Government of the composite Madras State in 1946. The college became a constituent of JNTU, Hyderabad in 1972. Consequent to the trifurcation of the JNTU, Hyderabad, it was notified as JNTUK Kakinada by the Act of legislature in 2008. INDIAN GRAPE PROCESSING BOARD Keeping the above in mind and to co-ordinate the efforts for promotion and development of the wine industry in India in close association with industry, producers and other stakeholders, the Union Cabinet in its meeting held on January 2, 2009 gave its approval for the establishment of the Indian Grape Processing Board (IGPB) under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Board has its headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra that is close to the principal grape growing and processing areas in the country. Its logo has a wine glass with a bunch of grapes and vine leaf in white in a light green circle, which is surrounded by its name in black sans serif text.
