Munger University is a State University in India that was established in 2018. It is located in Munger. The university's insignia features the letter ‘M’ as a brown parapet wall with crenellations, representing the Munger Fort and a pair of peacocks. This forms the basis of a green tree of learning. The name of the university is written in English on the right and in Devanagari on the left. The colour brown symbolises earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition. The colour green represents agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down-to-earth. The tree denotes strength, individuality and expression, calmness, growth and the interconnectedness of everything. The peafowls are symbolic of rejuvenation, re-growth, integrity, respect, royalty and honour. They also symbolise passion, love and beauty.
