MADHUSUDAN LAW UNIVERSITY
MADHUSUDAN LAW UNIVERSITY |
The Madhusudan Law University (MLU) was established on the birth anniversary of Madhusudan Das on April 28, 2021. The university started its official functioning on the same day, under the guidance and vision of the founding vice chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Jeet Singh. The yellow and orange and emblem of the university has a two-pan beam balance representing the scales of justice supported by an open book which symbolises knowledge, wisdom and education with rising sun supporting these two motifs. The sun symbolises light, universal prosperity and path for growth. All the motifs are ensconced by a circular border which carries the name of the university and its place. Below this emblem, on a banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः’ (Verse 8.15, Manusmriti, Mahabharata) meaning ‘Those Who Protect the Dharma are Protected by Dharma’ is inscribed.
