The ICFAI University (ICFAIUN), Nagaland has been established under the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Nagaland Act 2006 passed by the Legislative Assembly of Nagaland. The university has been established under Notification No. HE/9-2/2004 (Vol.1) dated, June 19, 2008.The university is authorised by UGC for award of degrees under Section 22 of UGC Act 1956. The logo of the university has the acronym of its name written in capital slab serif font in blue colour, supported by a red banner on which ‘University’ is written. Below this ‘Nagaland’ is written in black. The colour red represents passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour blue denotes trust, character and integrity.

DOORDARSHAN 1959 Doordarshan (DD) is an autonomous public service broadcaster founded by the Government of India, which is one of two divisions of Prasar Bharati. Engineering education in BHU started in 1919 with the establishment of Banaras Engineering College (BENCO).
