DR. T. THIMMAIAH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (DR.TTIT) The emblem of Dr. T. Thimmaiah Institute of Technology (Dr.TTIT) features a shield holding a circle housing the motifs of a pair of gear wheels, a production plant, a chip, a laptop computer and a power symbol representing the subjects of engineering are placed around its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’. The border of the circle is inscribed with the name and place of the managing. The shield is supported by a pair of crests of paddy and surmounted by the name of the college on a yellow banner. The paddy crests denote prosperity, abundance, and the bounty of nature; and the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery.
