COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, KARUNAGAPPALLY (CEKNPY) The emblem of College of Engineering, Karunagappally (CEKNPY) features a pair of elephants supporting a microprocessor, a computer and a pair of electronic nodes referring to the study of electronics engineering. The initials of the promoter ‘IHRD’ is placed above the nodes. At the bottom, on a banner placed between the elephants is inscribed with ‘Engineering’ and its tagline ‘Manpower Development’ is written below. The elephants represent the State of Kerala. This assemblage is placed above an open book supported by a pair of laurels. On a circular border inscribed with its name is ensconcing all these. On the banner, placed at the bottom, its motto in Sanskrit ‘श्रद्धावान् लभते ज्ञानम्’ (Verse 39, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘The Believer Attains Knowledge’ is inscribed.
