MAR BASELIOS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (MBCET) The emblem of Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology (MBCET) features a gearwheel and a campus inscribed with its name and place housing the motifs of a structure of an atom supporting a set of geometrical drawing tools created by a torch with flame and supported by its motto in Latin ‘Duc In Altum’ meaning ‘Put Out Into the Deep’. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the geometrical tools and the atom refer to the engineering and science education; and the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power.
