NAGNATHAPPA HALGE ENGINEERING COLLEGE (NHCE) The emblem of Nagnathappa Halge Engineering College (NHCE) features an open book placed in a circular background of a traditional lamp ensconced by a black and red borders and a glowing sun. This assemblage is supported by three circles with the motifs of a diagram of an atom , a gearwheel , and spacecraft symbolising engineering and technology. At the bottom, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ ( Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28 , Pavamana Mantra , Brihadaranyaka Upanishad ) meaning ‘ From Darkness Lead Me to Light ’ is inscribed. The book symbolises learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity.

NEW HORIZON COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (NHCE) The emblem of New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE) features a motif of a torch with flame supported by a pair of laurels. New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE). The name of the college is written on the right in a decorative typeface in capitals. The torch with flame denotes is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
