ENGINEERING COLLEGE NOWGONG (NEC) The emblem of Engineering College Nowgong (NEC) features a brown gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college and its motto ‘Excellence in Engineering Education’. The wheel houses the motifs of an electrical transmission tower, a dish antenna, a computer and a set of highrise buildings. Below the gearwheel, on a yellow banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्या सर्वस्य भूषणम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Ornament of All’ (Chanakya Niti, Kautilya) is inscribed. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of science, engineering and technology.

NARASARAOPETA ENGINEERING COLLEGE (NEC) The emblem of Narasaraopeta Engineering College (NEC) features a stylised sans-serif extrabold capitals of its initials ‘NEC’ in dark blue surmounted by an open book supported by a semicircular purple sunflower. Below the initials the full name of the college is written. The book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; and the purple sunflower symbolises royalty, wealth, success, uniqueness, mystery and creativity.

NATIONAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE (NEC) The emblem of the National Engineering College (NEC) features a gearwheel housing the motifs of a map of India, computer and a satellite placed inside a circle circumscribed with its name and place. Its motto in Tamil ‘அறிவே ஆக்கம்’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Creation’ is placed below the gearwheel and its year of establishment is placed at the bottom. The gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the map refers to the college's pan Indian approach; and the computer and satellite refers to the domains of engineering studies.
