NAGAON EDUCATION SOCIETY'S GANGAMAI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (GCOE)

The  emblem of Nagaon Education Society's Gangamai College of Engineering (GCoE) features an impeller with eleven vanes inscribed with the name of the college and housing a gearwheel with motifs of a satellite dish antenna and a television set. On a banner, below the impeller the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन’ (2.47, Srimad Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Thy Right is to Work Only, but Never With its Fruits’ and ‘Knowledge is Power’ is inscribed. The impeller denotes represents a driving or motivating force that initiates action and drives change; the gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.

Its emblem is an orange squircle with its acronym ‘Cmm’ as a monogram in white, light blue and violet colours. It is supported by its motto in Sanskrit ‘सर्वाणी स्वास्थ्य मूलम्’ meaning ‘Health is the Root of Everything’. On the top right corner is the Rod of Aesculapius (also called Asklepios), the ancient mythical god of medicine. Asklepios may have been a real person who was renowned for his gentle remedies and humane treatment of the mentally ill.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.

CIPET has 15 centres at Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Aurangabad, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Hajipur, Haldia, Jaipur, Imphal, Lucknow, Mysore and Panipat. 14 CORPS The 14 Corps of the Indian Army is a part of the Army’s Udhampur-based Northern Command. It was raised after the Kargil War in 1999, to control troops in Ladakh. It currently consists of 3rd Infantry Division. The division was created in October 1962 in Ladakh. It fought in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. Until 1990, it was headquartered at Kohima under III Corps. It is headquartered at Kumbathang, near Kargil. The sleeve patch of this Corps is red horizontal striped patch intersected with a white stripe in the background with two crossed torches (Vajra) with trident at their ends and wand in the foreground.
