The motto of the college in Marathi ‘बहुजन हिताय, बहुजन सुखाय’, translates to ‘For The Welfare of the Many, For the Happiness of the Many’ is inscribed above the motif. The assemblage is ensconced by a black circle. The leaf denotes fertility, growth, hope, and renewal, but also change, mortality, and wisdom; the rising sun symbolises life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; and the blue hand denotes  trust, reliability, calmness, support, and protection.
