The circular emblem of Pune District Education Association's College of Engineering (PDEACOEM) features a blue hand supporting a rising sun over an orange leaf with the initials of the managing body written below along with full name. The motto of the college in Marathi ‘बहुजन हिताय, बहुजन सुखाय’, translates to ‘For The Welfare of the Many, For the Happiness of the Many’ is inscribed above the motif. The assemblage is ensconced by a black circle. The leaf denotes fertility, growth, hope, and renewal, but also change, mortality, and wisdom; the rising sun symbolises life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; and the blue hand denotes  trust, reliability, calmness, support, and protection.

INDIAN GRAPE PROCESSING BOARD Keeping the above in mind and to co-ordinate the efforts for promotion and development of the wine industry in India in close association with industry, producers and other stakeholders, the Union Cabinet in its meeting held on January 2, 2009 gave its approval for the establishment of the Indian Grape Processing Board (IGPB) under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Board has its headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra that is close to the principal grape growing and processing areas in the country.
