MAHAVIR INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, BHUBANESWAR (MIET) The emblem of Mahavir Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar (MIET) features an image of Lord Hanuman on an orange circle surrounded by the motifs of a factory, a computer, an electrical tower, an open book, a mountain with trees, a traditional lamp, and a transformer and tools. These are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. Below the seal, on a banner, ‘Bhubaneswar’ is written. Lord Hanuman represents strength, devotion, and selfless service. This reflects the institution’s name and its commitment to fostering these values in its students. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the mountain and trees reflect the institute's eco-friendly campus and its location in a natural, serene environment; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering and technology.

MANOHARBHAI PATEL INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (MIET) The emblem of Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET) features a black oval superimposed with a sprocket wheel and ‘miet’ written in red and white. The sprocket forms the dot of the letter ‘i’. The black oval denotes mystery, power, and sophistication, but also stability, endurance, and a connection to new beginnings; and the sprocket wheel refers to interconnectedness, cause and effect, and continuous energy flow on a spiritual level and mechanical function, power transfer, and efficiency.
