BANDARI SRINIVAS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (BSIT) The emblem of Bandari Srinivas Institute of Technology (BSIT) features an orange gearwheel holding the motif of a computer with Sri Sudarshan Chakra on the screen and circumscribed by the name of the college and ensconced by a blue circle. On an orange banner placed below, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्या विनयेन वर्धिते’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Enhanced by Humility’ is inscribed. The gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the computer refers to technology and engineering; the Sri Sudarshan Chakra symbolises the mind and creativity and it is also a weapon to destroy evil, divine guidance and blessings.
