VIMAL JYOTHI ENGINEERING COLLEGE (VJEC) The red and blue emblem of Vimal Jyothi Engineering College (VJEC) features a monogram of ‘VEC’ with a traditional lamp placed over a blue gearwheel supported on sides by a pair of green laurels, and the bottom by a red banner inscribed with the name and place of the college. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ forms the crest. The gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
