TOMS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (TCE) The circular seal of Toms College of Engineering (TCE) features the motifs of a traditional lamp, an open book, a t-square, a setsquare, a computer monitor, a tablet, an antenna and an airplane placed inside a gearwheel and ensconced by glowing sun. The seal is supported by a banner inscribed with its motto ‘Varsity ofIdeal Eclat and Thrive’ The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity and the other motifs denotes the engineering education.
