RV INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (RVIT) The emblem of RV Institute of Technology (RVIT) features a shield housing the motifs of an open book, and torch with flame, superimposed with a banner inscribed with its initials ‘RVIT’ and supported by a pair of laurels. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.
