B M S EVENING COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (BMSECE) The circular emblem of B M S Evening College of Engineering (BMSECE) features a structural bridge with birds flying over, a portion of a mortarboard hat with ribbon tang end, an open book supporting a saint ensconced by a circular border inscribed with its name and its affiliating university and a gearwheel. The gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book refers to education, learning, education and wisdom; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.
