GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AURANGABAD (GECA) The emblem of Government College of Engineering Aurangabad (GECA) features an orange star holding the motifs of an open book supporting a sun ensconced by a gearwheel. The name of the college is inscribed around the star in the form of a circle. The star represents perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal; the sun  represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the gearwheel denotes technology and engineering; the book denotes learning, knowledge, education and wisdom; and the colour orange signifies energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.
