GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, SRIRANGAM (GCES) The emblem of Government College of Engineering, Srirangam (GCES) features a shield with brown outlines housing the circle with the motifs of an open book, a computer, gearwheel s and chain, electrical transmission towers, a building and a bridge, a mobile phone and a satellite dish antenna representing the branches of engineering; circumscribed by its name and place. The shield is supported by a brown banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Knowledge Innovation Service’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery.
