KUMARAGURU COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY The emblem of Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) features an open book surmounted by five stars, supported by its motto ‘Character is Life’ and circumscribed by its name and  year of establishment placed in a circle. The circle is placed on a thirteen petal lotus. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the stars refer to guidance, aspiration and excellence and the lotus refers to purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.
