MKD INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MKDIT) The logo of MKD Institute of Technology (MKDIT) features a pictorial of an orange shield with electronic circuitry inscribed with the motifs of a computer, an electronic chip, an electromagnet, a helmet, a structure of an atom, a light bulb, etc. A red banner placed on the shield is inscribed with the name of the college and a pair of laurels support the shield. Below the motifs, on a red banner the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानेन निर्मानम्’ meaning ‘ Building with Knowledge ’ is written. The name of the managing Society is written above the shield. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the other motifs represent the subject disciplines of engineering.
