LOYOLA-ICAM COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (LICET) The circular emblem of Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology (LICET) features a yellow shield divided into quarters by a cross with blue and gold as primary colours representing the Jesuit traditions. The motifs of a pair of torches with flames and a pair of open books are placed on the shield. The shield is surmounted by a knight’s helmet crested by a dollar sign and supported by a banner which is inscribed with its motto in Latin ‘Luceat Lux Vestra’ meaning ‘Let Your Light Shine’. The shield is decorated with flowy flourishes on each side. The shield with the helmet denote protection, strength, and the college's commitment to safeguarding its values; the torches refer to enlightenment, knowledge, and the pursuit of truth, core values in education and the books refer to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.
