NALANDA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, BHUBANESWAR (NIT) The emblem of Nalanda Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar (NIT) features a red oval gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college. In the counter of the wheel, the motifs of an open book inscribed with the initials ‘NIT’ of the college, traditional lamp and a flower. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the flower symbolises protection, harmony, and the balance of natural cycles.

NAGPUR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ( NIT ) The emblem of Nagpur Institute of Technology (NIT) features a green shield housing the motif of a lotus supported by the initials ‘NIT’ and three stars. A pair of laurels are placed on the sides of the shield. On a red banner placed below the shield, the name of the college is written. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

NAVODAYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (NIT) The logo of Navodaya Institute of Technology (NIT) features a blue shield holding the letter ‘N’ the ascending stroke of which supports a red sun, with the name of the Institute written on the right in blue sans-serif capitals. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery;; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; and the colour blue signifies  serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
