NDRK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (NDRKIT) The emblem of NDRK Institute of Technology (NDRKIT) features a shield holding the motifs of a lotus on water, a pair of gear wheels, a microprocessor, a water dam, a satellite dish antenna and a computer supported by an open book and a traditional lamp at the bottom and a pair of laurels at the sides. Below the seal, on a light blue banner the name of the college is written and its places written at the bottom. On a dark blue banner surmounting the shield, its motto in Kannada ‘ವಿದ್ಯಾ ವಿವೇಕ ವರ್ಧನಂ’ meaning ‘Knowledge Increase Wisdom’ is inscribed. The lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosp...
