The emblem of Walchand College of Engineering (WCE) features a shield housing the motifs of a transmission tower, a set of gears, civil surveying equipment, and a bridge along with the college’s motto in Sanskrit ‘क्रियासिद्धिः सत्वे’ (169, Bhojapraband) meaning ‘Success Depends on Inner Strength and Determination, Not on External Means. The shield is supported by a banner inscribed with the name of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.
