MATHA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY (MCT ERNAKULAM) The reddish brown circular seal of Matha College of Technology (MCT Ernakulam) features a shield holding the motifs of an open book, a mortarboard hat, a computer and a set of geometrical drawing tools representing engineering learning, education, knowledge, educational achievement, and educational tools. The shield is supported by a pair of traditional lamps placed on decorative pedestal and crested by a lamp with flame and surmounted by a banner inscribed with the name of the college. This assemblage is placed on a brown circle with an orange outline. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the traditional lamps symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
