RURAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE (REC) The emblem of Rural Engineering College (REC) features a shield housing the motifs of  a gearwheel, an open book, a motif of DNA, a laboratory flask, a sun on a platform, a pair of connected hexagons, and a scientific tool crested on the left top by a banner inscribed with the name of the managing society and supported by a banner inscribed with the name of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.
