MAHATMA EDUCATION SOCIETY'S PILLAI HOC COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY ( PHCET ) The emblem of Mahatma Education Society's Pillai HOC College of Engineering & Technology (PHCET) features a wordmark of ‘Pillai’ written in brown script supported by the initials ‘PHCET’, a pair of laurels and a mortarboard hat with a scroll. These are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college. The laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage.
