MILAN 2024 The circular seal for the Milan 2024, the multinational naval exercise organised by Indian Navy, has a globe with Ashoka Chakra placed above the map of India, a lighthouse with beacon, a warship with guns and wavy waters of the sea written with ‘Visakhapatnam, India’. These are ensconced by a circular tricolour border referring to India and a blue border, which carries the name of the event, its tagline ‘Camaraderie Cohesion Collaboration’ and a pair of anchors. The emblems circumscribed a rope similar to the one used in seafaring and ships. The globe denotes the reach and scope of the exercises; the naval ship refers to the navies of the participating countries; the blue waters refer to the seas and oceans; the beacon denotes the guiding light and the anchors refer to the navies. 

INDIA SWEDEN JOINT BUSINESS COUNCIL

INDIA SWEDEN JOINT BUSINESS COUNCIL The circular emblem of India Sweden Joint Business Council (ISJBC) houses the portions of national flags of Sweden and India in blue, yellow, orange and green with crown and Ashoka Chakra. These are ensconced by a circular border with black outlines, on which its name is inscribed. The seal or emblem is a classic and colourful representation of an identity.

INDO CANADA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE The brown circular insignia of Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) has a wheel representing Ashoka Chakra of India and maple leaf representing Canada, bordered by its name in capitals and  ensconced by a decorative circular border. The circular shape gives this identity a dynamism and momentum and the colour brown symbolises earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

GUNVATTA SANKALP

GUNVATTA SANKALP The emblem of  of गुणवत्ता संकल्प or Gunvatta Sankalp has a the Ashoka Chakra of the national flag ensconced by a grey border bearing the name of the Quality Council of India. This is supported by a blue banner bearing the name of the mission in Devanagari and the tricolours of the national flag emerge from the banner.

MAHATMA GANDHI UNIVERSITY

MAHATMA GANDHI UNIVERSITY The emblem of Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Yellareddyugudem, Nalgonda features the Nagarjuna Sagar Dam ensconced by a gear wheel. This is circumscribed by a cyan circular border with traditional designs. The name of the university is written around the border in Telugu, Devanagari and Urdu. Another blue and orange border circle bears the name of the university in English. These are surmounted by Ashoka Chakra and supported by a pair of peacocks. Below the circular motif a white banner carries its motto in Telugu ‘సా విద్యా యా విముక్తయే’ (Rishi Parāśara, 1,19.41, Viṣṇu Purāṇa) meaning ‘Knowledge  is one that Liberates’. The banner is supported by a pair of corns. Above the banner and at the bottom of the circular seal a Poorna Kumbha is placed. KAKATIYA UNIVERSITY

KAKATIYA UNIVERSITY The emblem of Kakatiya University (KU) has the ‘Kakatiya Thoranam’ as its central motif and ensconced by a decorative circular border. It is surmounted by the national emblem ‘Ashoka Chakra’ which is supported on by a pair of serpents. Below the ‘Thoranam’ a Poorna Kumbha’ or Kalasham is placed. The name of the university is written on a circular border in English and Devanagari. Below the circular seal on a black banner embellished with ornaments, the name of the university is written in Telugu. At the bottom of the emblem, the motto of the university is written in Sanskrit ‘न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते’ (Chapter 4, verse 38 of the Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘In this World, There is Nothing as Pure and Virtuous as the Pursuit of Knowledge’ is inscribed. KING GEORGE'S MEDICAL UNIVERSITY King George's Medical University is a medical school, hospital and medical university located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, was established on September 16, 2002. The emblem of the medical university has a red shield with golden border has the motifs of caduceus the Staff of Hermes is a symbol with a short staff entwined by two serpents, surmounted by wings, representing the medical profession is supported at the bottom by an open book denoting knowledge, wisdom and education; crested by Ashoka Chakra, the national symbol and supported on both the sides by fish denoting abundance, fertility, transformation and adaptability. The year of the university’s establishment is placed on top. The shield is ensconced by a blue circle which supports the name, State and the place of the university. All these are supported by a blue border which is inscribed by its motto ‘Sincerity Service Sacrifice’.

VIKRAMA SIMHAPURI UNIVERSITY

VIKRAMA SIMHAPURI UNIVERSITY Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore, came into being, fulfilling the long cherished dream of the people of SPS Nellore District on September 24, 2008. The emblem of Vikrama Simhapuri University carries on its top the Sudarsana Chakra indicating the immortality of the pursuit of dispelling the forces of darkness leading to the dawning of the light of truth and wisdom, Tamasoma Jyotirgamaya. The Sudarsana Chakra also shows how Vikrama Simhapuri University carves itself out of the territorial jurisdiction of Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. At the bottom of the emblem is the Poorna Kumbha, the edifice on which the emblem is poised, signifying a sense of fulfilment, a totality of being that follows true education. In the middle is the Ashoka Chakra, symbolising the quest for dharma that is inclusive. MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. This is supported by an open book on which images of an atom and a burning candle are depicted. Its name is written in Urdu atop the emblem on a banner; written in Devanagari on a banner above the logo and in English at its bottom. The book represents knowledge and education; the atom denotes science and the candle denotes light and guidance to discover the unknown.

The logo for PM Svanidhi, as designed by Dipesh Gurav for Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign, now officially used by the PM SVANidhi scheme. AERO INDIA 2023

AERO INDIA 2023 Aero India is a biennial air show and aviation exhibition held in Bengaluru, India at the Yelahanka Air Force Station. It is organised by the Defence Exhibition Organisation, Ministry of Defence. The Defence Ministry of India, Indian Air Force, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Department of Space, the Union Civil Aviation Ministry and other such organisations organise the Aero India show. The first edition of the air show was held in 1996. Subsequently, Aero India has emerged as a significant military aviation exhibition. The emblem of the show is a tricolour patch of Reuleaux triangle triangle holding an image of a fighter jet super imposed by Ashoka Chakra. The year, name of the show and its tagline are written below.

PRAVASI BHARATIYA DIVAS

PRAVASI BHRATIYA DIVAS January 9 commemorates the return of Mahatma Gandhi from South Africa to India in 1915. To mark this day, the tradition of celebrating Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) started in 2003. First PBD Convention was organised on January 9, 2003, to mark the contribution of the overseas Indian community to the development of India. Since 2015, under a revised format, PBD Convention has been organised once every two years. The logo of PBD has an arc of tricolour above the Ashoka Chakra supported by three different coloured human icons.
