CHAITANYA BHARATHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (CBIT) The emblem of Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) features a lotus holding the motifs of an electric tower, a transmission tower, a dam and an atomic structure denoting the subject disciplines of engineering ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the name of the college and supported by a green banner bearing a portion of the name. The college’s tagline in Telugu ‘స్వయం తేజస్విన్ భవ’ meaning ‘Be Your Own Light’ is written below and the year of establishment of the college is written at the bottom. The lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.

C BYREGOWDA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (CBIT) The emblem of C Byregowda Institute of Technology (CBIT) features circle housing a traditional lamp above a lotus surrounded by a computer, a pair of gearwheels, a satellite dish antenna, and bridge with towers ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name the managing trust and its a place. This seal is placed in a shield supported by an open book supported by a pair of pens and at the bottom, on a banner the initials of the college ‘CBIT’ is inscribed. The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; the pen symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.
