YENEPOYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (YIT) The orange and brown emblem of Yenepoya Institute of Technology (YIT) features a monogram of ‘YIT’ using four vertical strokes and a horizontal stroke. The name of the university is written at the bottom in sans-serif capitals. The colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness; and brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.
