AMARA INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (AIET) The emblem of Amara Institute of Engineering & Technology (AIET) features a shield in light blue and dark blue colours inscribed with the motifs of ‘AIET’, a circle with three orbiting rings and cauldron with flame above flowing water surmounted by the name and place of the college and supported by a banner inscribed with motto of the college in Telugu ‘విద్యా వినయేన శోభతే’  meaning ‘Knowledge Shines by Humbleness’. The stylised representation of circle with orbiting rings, often associated with an atom or a planetary system, symbolises the fields of science, engineering, and technology, emphasising innovation, exploration, and the pursuit of knowledge in these domains. ALVA'S INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (AIET) The pictorial emblem of Alva's Institute of Engineering & Technology (AIET) features a headgear known as ‘kirita’ or ‘pagade’ of a yakshagana dancer in white, yellow,red and brown supported by its initials in brown. The ‘kirita’ refers to the rich heritage of the region, where the college is located. The colour white is associated with purity and divinity, while red can signify anger, passion, or even demonic nature and yellow is linked to the earth, and green to water or nature.

The tree refers to strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity; the open book refers to learning, knowledge, education and wisdom; and the colour blue refers to serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
