JOHN COX MEMORIAL C S I INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (JIT) The circular seal of John Cox Memorial C S I Institute of Technology (JIT) features the emblem of ‘Church of South India’ supported by an open book and a pair of laurels ensconced by a gearwheel inscribed with its name and place. On a green banner, placed below the gearwheel, its motto ‘The Lord Builds’ and its year of establishment are written. The CSI emblem refers to the college’s affiliation and divine blessings; the open book refers to learning, knowledge, education, and wisdom; the gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
