SHRI MADHWA VADIRAJA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT (SMVITM) The yellow ochre and brown emblem of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM) features a lotus crested by a gearwheel placed over a globe with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सर्वे भद्राणी पश्यन्तु’ (1.4.14, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘May All be Well’. The initials of the college are written at the bottom. The lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; and the gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.
