The emblem of Krantiveer Vasantrao Narayanrao Naik Loknete Gopinathji Munde Institute of Engineering Education & Research (LoGMIEER) features an open book supporting an abstract human and a gearwheel with a red banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘कर्मात कर्मसु कौशल्यम्’ (Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Excellence in Work’ ensconced by a red circle. A black mortarboard hat inscribed with the initials of the college ‘LoGMIEER’ crests the circle. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the human denotes the stakeholders of the college; the gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage.
