The emblem of Krantiveer Vasantrao Narayanrao Naik Loknete Gopinathji Munde Institute of Engineering Education & Research (LoGMIEER) features an open book supporting an abstract human and a gearwheel with a red banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘कर्मात कर्मसु कौशल्यम्’ (Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Excellence in Work’ ensconced by a red circle. A black mortarboard hat inscribed with the initials of the college ‘LoGMIEER’ crests the circle. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the human denotes the stakeholders of the college; the gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage.

NORTH EASTERN INDIRA GANDHI REGIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH AND MEDICAL SCIENCES The insignia of North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) has a Staff of Caduceus entwined by a serpent crested by a flame of fire and surmounted by its tagline in Latin ‘Ad Scientia et Vita’ meaning ‘Towards Knowledge and Life’. The Staff is supported by green mountains with orange rising sun and its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् जीवनम् च प्रति’ meaning ‘Towards Knowledge and Life’. These are ensconced by a blue circle around which its name is written. This is supported by a pair of laurels. Below these motifs its acronym is written. The laurels refer to success, hard work and perseverance; the green mountains and the rising sun refer to the Northeastern region and the Staff refers to medicine and the medical profession.

PURNEA UNIVERSITY Purnea University, Purnia was carved out of Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Madhepura on March 18, 2018 by an act of Bihar Assembly. THE BIHAR REGIMEN The Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim influences intermingled to produce a soldiery which was traditionally arms bearing, disciplined and deeply religious. The Bihar Regiment claims its origins from the sepoy battalions raised in 1758 by Clive at Patna. The Bihari or poorbia or purviah soldier thereafter continued to provide the backbone of The Bengal Infantry of the British. Its Regimental Centre is Danapur, Bihar and its Regimental insignia is the Ashoka lion. Its Regimental motto is ‘Karam Hi Dharam’ (Work is Worship) and its war cry is ‘Jai Bajrang Bali’ (Victory to Bajrang Bali)and ‘Birsa Munda Ki Jai’ (Victory to Birsa Munda).
