AMRUTA INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCE (AIEMS) The emblem of Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Science (AIEMS) features a circle with the motifs of set of books with a traditional lamp; a twig of leaves, laboratory equipment and an atomic structure; a pair of gear wheels, a transmission tower, a dam, and a pair of power symbols; a two-pan beam balance, and a factory; placed in the four quarters of a circle. The circle is surmounted by the name of the managing sangha in Kannada, crested by ‘Nandi’ the divine bull and supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Kannada ‘ಕಾಯಕವೇ ಕೈಲಾಸ’ meaning ‘Work is Worship’. The motifs in the circle denote engineering education, knowledge, expertise and their application; and Nandi represents devotion, strength, and loyalty, particularly to education and Lord Shiva.
