VISHNU WAMAN THAKUR CHARITABLE TRUST'S VIVA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (VIVAIT) The emblem of Vishnu Waman Thakur Charitable Trust's VIVA Institute of Technology (VIVAIT) features a shield with red and blue outlines. The shield is inscribed with a motif of Saraswati Yantra on an open book crested by a mortarboard hat and its initials ‘VIVA’ and supported by its motto in Sanskrit ‘अमृतं तु विद्या’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Eternal’. Below the shield, On a banner the name of the managing Trust of the college is written. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the Saraswati Yantra represents Goddess Saraswati , the deity of knowledge, wisdom, education, and the arts. This yantra is believed to invoke her blessings and enlightening energy.
