The college’s  motto is ‘ Knowledge to Empower ’ reflects the organisation's focus on providing education and skills to individuals to help them succeed. The stylised ‘e’ in the logo resembles a gear or a compass, suggesting a focus on engineering, technology, and guiding students toward a successful future.

TONTADARYA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (TCE) The emblem of Tontadarya College of Engineering (TCE) features an image of Shri Tontadarya Swamiji surrounded by a number of pots holding snakes and a bullock ensconced by a blue circular border with teeth of gearwheel inscribed with its name and its year of establishment. Below the gearwheel, on a blue banner, the motto of the college in Kannada ‘ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಅಜ್ಞಾನದ ಕೇಡು’ (Vachana 24) meaning ‘Ignorance is Destroyed By the Power of Knowledge’ and the name of the managing Trust is written. The image of swamiji represents wisdom, knowledge, and spiritual enlightenment; in Veerashaivism, snakes (often identified with the serpent Vasuki) symbolize various aspects, including control over desires, spiritual energy (Kundalini), and the ability to overcome fear and negativity; the bull, specifically Nandi, is a powerful symbol of devotion, loyalty, and strength; and the gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, adva...

TRAVANCORE ENGINEERING COLLEGE (TCE) The cyan and dark blue circular seal of Travancore Engineering College (TCE) features an abstract motif of a multi-layered entrance with an interesting facade supported by its tagline ‘My Lord Increase My Knowledge’ ensconced by a circular border inscribed with its name and place. Below the seal the name of the college and its initials are placed. The archway resembles a mihrab, which is a semicircular niche in the wall of a mosque that indicates the qibla (the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca), and towards which Muslims pray which is a sacred space for worship and the colour cyan signifies sky, hope and spring, peace, tranquillity, calmness, relaxation and emotional balance.

TOMS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (TCE) The circular seal of Toms College of Engineering (TCE) features the motifs of a traditional lamp, an open book, a t-square, a setsquare, a computer monitor, a tablet, an antenna and an airplane placed inside a gearwheel and ensconced by glowing sun. The seal is supported by a banner inscribed with its motto ‘Varsity ofIdeal Eclat and Thrive’ The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity and the other motifs denotes the engineering education.

THIAGARAJAR COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING The emblem of Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) features a map of India’s south superimposed with a motif of gopuram crested by a torch with flame and supported by a fish ensconced by a gear wheel and placed on a pink lotus spread with eight petals. On a blue banner placed below the lotus, the motto of the university in Tamil ’வினையே உயிர்’ meaning ‘Action is Life’ is inscribed. The map refers to the university’s geographical location; the gopuram refers to the local historical temple architecture; the fish refers to the Pandya dynasty for which Madurai was the capital; the torch refers to knowledge and enlightenment; the gear wheel refers to the engineering focus of the institution and the lotus refers to purity and auspiciousness.
