The green wheel is ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name of the college. On a blue banner placed below the seal, the name of the place of the college is inscribed. The green gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the college’s religious affiliation. The other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.

16 CORPS The 16 Corps is a corps of the Indian Army raised on June 1, 1972. It has its headquarters at Nagrota Cantonment, Nagrota, Jammu district, Jammu and Kashmir. In 2005 IX Corps (India) was raised in part of the 16 Corps' area, taking over two of its divisions. It is headquartered at at Yol.
