BASAVAKALYAN ENGINEERING COLLEGE (BEC) The emblem of Basavakalyan Engineering College (BEC) features an image of Sri Basaveshwara placed inside a gearwheel supporting the motifs of a waterdam,a computer, a satellite dish antenna, a satellite, a traditional lamp and rail engine; ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college. This assemblage is supported by an open book written on with its motto in Kannada ‘ಅರಿವೇ ಗುರು’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Guru’. The initials of the college are written below the book in red extrabold sans-serif capitals. The year of establishment is written at the bottom.Sri Basaveshwara is a twelfth century philosopher, social reformer, and statesman. His presence signifies the college's connection to his principles of social justice, equality, and spiritual wisdom, which are deeply rooted in the Basavakalyan region's history. BASAVESHWAR ENGINEERING COLLEGE (BEC) The logo of Basaveshwar Engineering College (BEC) has an emblem with its initials ‘BEC’ written on the right in red sans-serif bold. The emblem features a circle with the motifs of set of books with a traditional lamp; a twig of leaves, laboratory equipment and an atomic structure; a pair of gear wheels, a transmission tower, a dam, and a pair of power symbols; a two-pan beam balance, and a factory; placed in the four quarters of a circle. The circle is surmounted by the name of the managing sangha, crested by ‘Nandi’ the divine bull and supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Work is Worship’. The motifs in the circle denote engineering education, knowledge, expertise and their application; and Nandi represents devotion, strength, and loyalty, particularly to education and Lord Shiva.

BHARATHIDASAN ENGINEERING COLLEGE (BEC) The emblem of Bharathidasan Engineering College (BEC) features a gearwheel housing the motifs of a satellite, a computer, a structure of an atom and an electrical transmission tower. The gear is circumscribed with the name and place of the college and supported by a banner inscribed with its motto in Tamil ‘உண்மை உழைப்பு உயர்வு’ meaning ‘Truth Labour Growth’. The gearwheel and the motifs represent the different branches of engineering.
