GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, BODINAYAKANUR (GCEBODI) The emblem of Government College of Engineering, Bodinayakanur (GCEBodi) features a gopuram of a temple referring to divine blessings and benevolence; a building, a set of gear wheels, a planet, a computer, an electrical tower and a building representing the branches of engineering; ensconced by a circular border inscribed with its name. The seal is supported by a pair of laurels on sides; an open book inscribed with its tagline in Tamil ‘’ meaning . A lotus supports this assemblage. The laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the book refers to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; and the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.
