BANNARI AMMAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY The yellow ochre and blue colour emblem of Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT) has its initials written in the form of a cube and placed inside the symbol of omega supported by an underline. The college’s motto ‘Stay Ahead’ is placed below the emblem. The cube symbolises stability; the omega means end or completion, signifying the institute's comprehensive approach to education or the culmination of learning experiences; the yellow ochre signifies earthiness, warmth, tradition, and connection to the land and blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
