GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, NAGPUR (GCOEN) The emblem of Government College of Engineering, Nagpur ( GCoEN ) features a slanted globe inscribed with the motifs of an electrical transmission tower , spreading of waves, a pair of gear wheels , a tower, a bridge and a laptop and crested by a mortarboard hat and supported by the name of the college. Below these, on a banner, the motto of the college ‘ Where the Legends Mould ’ is inscribed. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering .
