SHETTY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (SIT) The emblem of Shetty Institute of Technology (SIT) features a shield inscribed with computer code and with brown outlines houses the monogram of ‘SIT; supported by a compass and a t-square. A pair of laurels support the shield and the name of the Institute is written below the emblem. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the compass and the t-square refers to the subject of engineering; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
