GOKULA KRISHNA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (GKCE) The emblem of Gokula Krishna college of Engineering (GKCE) features a red circle housing the image of Lord Baala Krishna or Laddoo Gopal; and the motifs of a computer, a transmission tower, a set of meshing gears and a bunch of books placed inside a gearwheel. The circle is ensconced by a light blue circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. Below the circle, on a red banner, the motto of the college ‘Excellency Efficiency Quality’ is written. The Lord Baala Krishna symbolises innocence, playfulness, and the joy of childhood divinity; the gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.
