MATOSHRI EDUCATION SOCIETY'S MATOSHRI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MESMIT) The emblem of Matoshri Education Society's Matoshri Institute of Technology (MESMIT) features a yellow and red shield with the image of Goddess Saraswati , the God of Learning and motifs of a pair of gearwheels, a laptop computer, satellite dish antenna, a windmill, a diagram of an atom, a mobile phone handset, and a set of beakers. The seal is surmounted by the name of the college. The shield is supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Knowledge Perspective Understanding’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.
